Hello.

I wrote these songs in the Fall of 2024 after my family gifted me a sweet-sounding little acoustic guitar. The songs poured out impossibly quickly, ending a 15-year musical drought. I didn’t want to miss any of the wave, so as soon as each one had a discernible chord progression and melody, I moved on to the next. As a result, these songs are all only a couple minutes long.

I recorded them at home on wintery Cape Cod in February using Ableton Lite, a Scarlett 4i4, and a Neumann TLM 102. I couldn’t resist doubling some tracks and adding a few vocal harmonies, but there are no additional instruments. It’s just me and that new guitar. I consider these recordings to be demos, in need of development and collaboration. I can imagine them fully realized in many different ways, but haven’t decided which way to go, yet.
